Sodium silicate- Safe - Sodium silicate plays a crucial role in the bleaching process by stabilizing the pH of the solution, ensuring it doesn't become too acidic or alkaline—an essential factor for effective lightening. When combined with hydrogen peroxide, it helps activate the peroxide and release oxygen, driving the bleaching action. Additionally, sodium silicate can thicken the bleach paste for easier application and may even offer protective benefits to the hair during processing.

Potassium persulfate- Safe - Potassium persulfate is a powerful oxidizing agent commonly used in hair bleaches to boost the lightening process. It works by breaking down melanin pigments in the hair, turning them into smaller, colorless fragments for a brighter, lifted result. Often blended with ammonium and sodium persulfates, it enhances the overall effectiveness of professional bleaching formulations.

Magnesium carbonate hydroxide- Safe - Helps stabilise peroxide when mixed with hair bleaching products, preventing it from breaking down too quickly, ensuring a more effective bleaching process. 

Ammonium persulfate- Safe - Persulfates are potent oxidizing agents that play a key role in the hair bleaching process. When combined with an alkaline developer like hydrogen peroxide, they release oxygen radicals that break down melanin—the pigment in hair—into colorless fragments. Persulfates also oxidize disulfide bonds in keratin, the protein that gives hair its strength. Paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil, huile minerale)- Safe - Paraffinum liquidum, is widely used in hair products for its ability to lock in moisture, tame frizz, and add shine. It’s especially valued for its smoothing and conditioning effects, helping to improve the texture and appearance of hair.
